Great that you want to create a Spond profile! 🥳 You can create a Spond profile either in the web version or in the app. The Spond app is available for iPhone (iOS), Android phones, and browser version.

Create a Spond profile in the app

⚠️ NOTE! It is no longer possible to only register a phone number when creating a new Spond profile.

How to create a profile in the Spond App and join an existing group

1. Open the app, Select get started
2. Select Join an existing group
3. Fill in the fieldsIf you only want to register by e-mail, look a little further down the page and select "select here" under the text Do you want to register without a mobile phone number?

4. You'll receive a verification email with a code
5. Enter the code, press Next
6. Enter your first and last name, press Next
7. Add a profile picture either by taking a picture, selecting a picture from the camera roll, or uploading a picture from Facebook. If you do not want a profile picture, you can select Skip at the bottom of the page.
8. Enter your month and year of birth, select Get started.
9. If you've a group code, select Enter group code and enter the code. You'll now see the group.
10. Follow instructions

⚠️ NOTE: It's no longer possible to register using only a phone number when creating a new Spond profile. An email address is also required.

How to Create a Spond Profile and Set Up a New Group

1. Open the app, Select Get started
2. Set up a new group
3. Select the type of activity for your group
4. Select age group
5. Enter the group's name
6. Tap Next
7. Select Set up your account
8. Complete the fields.If you only want to register by email, look a little further down the page and select "Click here" under the text 'Do you want to register without a mobile phone number?'.​

How to create a Spond profile on a web browser

1. Follow this link to create your Spond profile.
2. Complete the fields and select Enrolment.ℹ️ If you want to add a phone number, you can do this in your profile after you've created your profile. Read more about how to add a phone number.
3. You'll receive a verification email that you must open and select verify email before you can log in.
4. Once that's done, go here to log in.

Frequently asked questions

Verification Email

Why am I not receiving the verification email?

If you do not receive the confirmation email, you may want to check your junk mailbox/spam filter. Some email services register emails from Spond as advertising. If the email is not in your spam inbox, there may be a block in our email platform. In these cases, please contact our customer support.

SMS notifications

Can I only register phone numbers to my Spond profile?

No, unfortunately this is not possible. You can have your phone number and email registered or only your email address.
